More jeans!!!

So I got an awesome deal online at http://www.djpremium.com/ a few weeks ago where they had 40% off on top of sale prices. That would make my jeans 75%-85% off retail and to me that sounds almost like free. LOL.

Here are the jeans I got

Paige Premium Denim Skyline ankle peg jeans

I got these in a size 25 and they make super comfy body hugging but NOT tight jeans. The fabric is 98% cotton 2% span but it feels like it has polyester in it. It's thin, and really not stretchy and the leg hits right at my ankle making it perfect to wear with my new leopard chuck taylors.

These William Rast Stella bootcuts are AWESOME. They are a tad too long for my petite frame so I'm probably getting them hemmed soon, but they are so pretty!! I got these in a size 24 and they are just right. William Rast normally runs larger than Paige so the 24 was perfect. Body hugging, NOT super tight but tight enough. I could have gone smaller but they didn't have any smaller sizes online.

Antik denim Eva skinny

These were practically free. I think $187 retail and paid... $33?? WOOT. And they are my favorite jeans!! These are TIGHT in a 24. And they fit perfectly well and I love the badass studs on them!!! Definitely a keeper and I can't wait to wear them this weekend yay!!

My favorite Jeans

This year has been a whole lot about denim for me. I believe I've purchased about 20 pairs so far and it's only August... *shamefully admits* sigh. Out of those, I've found my favorite to be these:

Paige Premium Denim Black Diamond Skinny

These are by FAR my favorite NON stretch skinny jeans EVER. The length is just right, it hits right on my ankle, and the fabric is nice and thick, perfect for winter. Also, the color does NOT bleed, I had one for about 1.5 years already and it's still as black as the first day. I like it so much I got me a new pair!!! I like my jeans to be VERY tight, and these seem to run true to size to other Paige premium denims. Usually, Paige runs smaller than other premium denim which is why I got a 25. The 25 hugs my body but is not super tight. I could have gone for a 24 but then I'd have to watch what I eat or else I'd risk a muffin top. :)

7 for all mankind Roxanne in Port Lions

These definitely run large. I got a size 25 and they fit just like on the model. They are loose, not tight at all but the color is awesome. I wish I had gotten a 24... sigh. It's the perfect neutral color of jeans that really goes with any palette I choose for the day. I do wear these jeans with boots but find the knee area rouches a lot so I try to "hold" my jeans with socks on those days.

These are listed to be 98% cotton and 2% spandex. The fabric is VERY thin, so they will make excellent all year round jeans, and the fabric is slightly stretchy, don't expect jegging stretch on these.

7 for all mankind Roxanne exaggerated flap in Dark Rustic Canyon

Talk about PERFECT denim leggings!!!! These were a surprise. I was not expecting the Roxanne to be jegging-like but they were! These jeggings are not like the regular jeggings. They are listed to be 98% cotton 2% spandex but they easily feel like a 10%. They are about the same thickness as regular denim, and stretch like crazy!!! There is NO rouching on the knees making them the perfect jeans to wear under boots.

I got these in size 25 and I should have gotten a 24 as they run about 0.5" bigger than the normal size (per http://www.revolveclothing.com/) . The legs fit fine, and the flap back pocket totally makes the rear a whole lot perkier woot.

OTK boots

I've been looking for over the knee boots since last year, when I first watched Gossip Girl. Yep. I'm a late bloomer, I waited until the whole season was available on DVD and watched it all at once. It was FUN, and I loved watching the preppy outfits!!

So! back to the boots. I spotted these gorgeous Chinese laundry turbo in gray suede and I knew it was love at first sight.

I also liked the black leather, but the grey suede seemed like it would be easier to dress down, and less S&M-ish.

Look how gorgeous the grey suedes look worn

Of course, those boots were nowhere to be found, and a few online retailers had them in black leather but I wasn't interested. Look how cute Kourtney Kardashian looks with her black suede ones. I believe she's about 5'1 which should be about 1" shorter than myself and we're about the same size so that gives me a lot of perspective.

So I ended up getting Chinese laundry tripin instead. These don't have a wedge like the turbo, and have buttons on the side. I got the grey suede ones and ordered a size 6.5 as I usually do on boots. To my surprise, the size 6.5 was HUGE. However, I had my sister in law try them (she is a 7) and she could barely get her foot onto the boots so I guess they run TTS.

per http://www.piperlime.com/, these are the boots specs

overview
Chinese Laundry Tripin Boot
Over-the-knee pull-on boot
3/8" heel
Leather lining
Synthetic outsole
Snap button closures at shaft
22" shaft, 16" circumference
Upper: 100% suede

I find the boots to be VERY roomy. The suede on the top part sort of stretches with use giving it a nice slouch, and I like how u can unbutton the top and fold them, like on this picture.

Again, what made me go ahead and buy these without seeing them in person first was a pic of Kourtney Kardashian. Look how cute the brown ones look as well. :)

So I find these boots to be a whole lot more comfortable with insoles in them. The 6.5 turned out to be a bit large for me, which is why that's a must. And thick socks. I've been enjoying my winter with these awesome boots, they truly go with everything!

First post!!

Ah! This is pretty exciting!!! So I was at a friend's house this past Sunday noon and she suggested I start a new blog with my shopping adventures. I told her I'm not witty enough, but she says my findings are interesting enough. We shall see!!!

I'm gonna start today's post with a few items I've been purchasing recently. Today will be all about shoes. Yes I am a shoeaholic. I believe I own about 150 pairs of shoes or so, and I'm in denial as I've purchased at least 10 pairs of shoes since I last made up that number. So don't ask. I'll never count.

This is one of my last (and favorite) purchases

Pour la Victoire Tarissa

I got these in size 6 and they fit well. I have very narrow feet so the straps don't hug my feet tightly which is good since they will swell in the summer anyway. Also, the color is Light Grey. I would have preferred the TAN color but there was none in stock and I got the last pair so I had to get these. Turns out, there is no hint of grey in these shoes. They match my skin tone perfectly!!!

Sadly, it's still winter down south, so I just put them for display next to my bed and love waking up at the sight of these shoes every morning. Can't wait for summer to come!!!

On the meantime, I've been enjoying these purchases

Dolce Vita Envy

These boots are awesome. I got them 1/2 size larger, as I usually do with boots and they fit very well. The circumference is pretty narrow so it fits my calves nicely without being too big. The leather is VERY soft, and the heel is hard to see so it looks like I'm about 1" taller than normal. Longer legs are always good!!!!

and I'm eager to receive my latest purchase

Dolce Vita flash

I decided I've fallen in love with this brand. I really can't wait to get these hidden platform booties. They will look awesome with my nightingale!!!
I got these in size 6. Although they are boots, I decided a 6 would fit better since they are high heels and my feet will go forward when I walk making these feel bigger than they really are. :)
I hope I have enough room for foot petals!! These are truly lifesavers for high heels. You can get some here!!
I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE the leopard ones, they are so cute!

Converse white tiger chuck taylor with sequins

These seem to be the perfect shoes for my trip to paris. Comfy, yet not too casual and will go very well with my brown leather jacket... As well as my newly acquired William Rast ruffle leather jacket! (pics will be on another post)
I got these in a size 3.5 . That seems to be my size for all my chuck taylors. Men's 3.5 women's 5.5 fits perfectly well :)
